• Password: Your password is used to authenticate you. It is not stored in plain text.
• User content: Phrases you add to learn (and related learning data needed to store them).

• To create and manage your account and let you sign in.
• To store and sync your saved phrases and learning progress.
• To provide translations for phrases using an AI service (see section 3).
• To maintain security, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot issues.

3) AI Translations (Google Gemini)

The app uses an AI translation service (Google Gemini) to translate phrases. When you request a translation, the phrase text you submit may be sent to Google for processing and then returned to the app as a translation.

• What is sent: the phrase text you ask to translate (and optional language context).
• What is not required: you do not need to include personal data in phrases.
• Third-party processing: Google may process the input to provide the translation. Your use of the AI translation feature is subject to Google’s terms and privacy practices.

4) Sharing of Data

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only as needed to provide the app:

• AI translation provider (Google Gemini): phrase text is sent only when you request translation.
• Service providers: hosting/infrastructure providers may process data to run the app (if applicable).
• Legal requirements: if required by law or to protect rights and safety.

5) Data Storage and Security

• Passwords are stored using secure hashing.
• We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data.
• No system is 100% secure; please use a strong, unique password.

6) Data Retention

We keep your account data and saved phrases for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

7) Your Choices

• You can choose what phrases you save.
• Avoid entering sensitive personal information in phrases you submit for translation.

• Memorapp is designed for language learning and may be used by children.
• We collect only the minimum information necessary to create and manage an account and to provide core learning features.
